A heritage listed house of Victorian Georgian style that was part of the original “Petersham Estate” was built in 1867 and needed an update to bring the home up to contemporary standards while respecting it’s historical significance.

From dark and dated to breezy crowd-pleasing spaces with timeless appeal in robust finishes to suit life by the sea. The existing layout was boxed in and blocked the amazing views from Putty Beach to Palm Beach. Cut off from the adjoining living areas, the kitchen had no flow to the alfresco entertaining area overlooking the beach and bush.

This home in Thornleigh had a busy layout so we took an unused granny flat and turned it into a master suite with the most. The bespoke vanity with a natural stone top adds luxury with gold fittings and suits the opulent aesthetic of the space. A splash of colour to the vanity adds interest and suits the modern classic tone of the room.
